What’s happened to my gaming ‘shizzle’?

Just lately I’ve been doing a lot of study for Uni and I haven’t had as much time for gaming. I’ve not really played WoW for a month and in truth, I was getting a little bored of it anyway. The thing is I’ve not been on my Xbox much either and have only given Catherine for a couple of hours since I bought it and I bet I haven’t logged any more than six or seven hours in FFXIII-2.

I think I may be missing a shooter but Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is out in a few weeks so maybe that will re-ignite my gaming desires. I got Tiger Woods 13 last week but I’m pretty sucky at that and I haven’t even managed to log in four days in a row for my XP bonus!!

I must be getting old. Sad smile

A play with Live Writer

Here is a little bit of text. I intend to use a ‘polaroid’ plug-in which should resize, rotate and put a white border around and image before I upload it.I want to try and put it in the middle of this block of text. It appears to

have rotated ok I’m just not sure that it’s appeared in the middle of the paragraph. We shall see once I’ve uploaded the post to the blog. Ah, I’ve changed my mind and I’ve moved it to the right-hand side of the post so that this text wraps down the left of it. I actually think it looks quite good now and I will need to find a version of the plug-in that will work through my Web browser as well. I don’t really want to be solely reliant on using MS Live Writer from my home laptop as I could want to post from a University PC or using my Android tablet or even a phone.

By the way, if anyone is interested, that is a photo of the petrol tank in my buggy. I chopped the filler neck off from the side (where that hole is) and shortened it. It was then brazed (by me!) into a new hole I made on the top. The side was plated over to seal it all back up and then the whole thing was painted in satin black.

Miles away from getting this blog up & running

I haven’t even decided what I want to use this blog for yet so I can quite confidently say that it’s some way off being used. The areas of interest that I could go for include:

  • my online CV / resume
  • the random weird thoughts and questions I often have pop into my head
  • my university studies (Computer Science: Video Game Development)
  • my development into the world of programming
  • my buggy
  • my diet / food musings
  • music (mainly trance type stuff)
  • video games including WoW and my XBox

I just feel compelled to get something going and it probably makes sense that as the site is called richardcrees.com then ALL those things above should be a part of it.

We shall see…
